CONNECT  PERSONALLY

Connect to God through a personal relationship with Jesus, His Son

We are born "broken" in our relationship with God because of sin.  Sin is disobedience to God, basically rebellion. A sinful heart may be one that is in rebellion against God or one that treats God as if He didn't exist or were unimportant.  Bad behavior is simply a symptom of a wicked heart. Luke 6:43-45. We are separated from God.
Therefore, we need to be "Restored" in this relationship.  God made a way through His Son, Jesus Christ.

THIS IS WHAT SALVATION IS
Paul shows this process in Ephesians 2: And you were “dead in the trespasses and sins”. But God … because of the great love with which he loved us … made us alive together with Christ. By grace you have been saved -- and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith.  And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:1-10. Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross for our sinfulness - 2 Cor. 5:14 - 18 -  He died for all, so that we may be "reconciled" or restored to God.

HOW CAN I KNOW GOD PERSONALLY
"if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." Romans 10:9-10

BELIEVE AND CONFESS THAT JESUS IS LORD AND SAVIOR
Believe in the Heart who Jesus is and what God did through Jesus! Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Your Savior!

THIS IS THE GOOD NEWS, THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

"Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." John 20:30-31

CONNECT TO THE CHURCH

WE ARE THE CHURCH
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.  Ephesians 2:19-22

Jesus is the cornerstone and the head of the church and we are His followers – we are also the dwelling place for God by the Spirit.  Paul writes:

But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.  1 Cor. 6:17

WHO WE ARE...

We are simply a life-giving church dedicated to reaching the unchurched, uncommitted or undecided and helping them become fully devoted followers of Christ. By “fully devoted followers of Christ”, we mean people who worship God weekly at church, connect with a small group (Sunday School class) regularly, serve unselfishly, share their faith effectively, and give consistently.

It is Disciples who make Disciples who fill the earth with God’s glory.

John Macarthur writes “You will hear sinners entreated with such phrases as “accept Jesus as personal Savior”; “ask Jesus into your heart”; “invite Christ into your life”; or “make a decision for Christ.”  You may be so accustomed to hearing those phrases that it will surprise you to learn that none of them is based on biblical terminology.  THE GOSPEL JESUS PROCLAIMED WAS A CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP, a call to follow Him in submissive obedience, not just a plea to make a decision to pray a prayer.” –The Gospel According to Jesus

While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Immediately they left their nets and followed him. Matthew 4:18-20
