Lead Pastor
Jase Waller
Jase began serving in full-time ministry in 2000 as Student Minister at First Baptist Church, De Leon, TX. From 2005 to 2015 he served as Associate Pastor of Students and Missions at First Baptist Seminole, Seminole, TX. In 2015, he moved into the Lead Pastor role at Spring Creek Baptist Church, Weatherford, TX. Telephone Baptist Church called him and his family to Telephone as our Pastor in December 2018.
Education:
Jase attended Howard Payne University majoring in Recreation and playing basketball for the Mighty Yellow Jackets before transferring to the University of North Texas and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. He also holds two graduate degrees, Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Seminary and Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry from Howard Payne University.
Family:
Jase and Tami, married in 1991 and have three amazing children, Bailey, Kendyl and Hayden. Tami, a Texas Tech Graduate and an incredible lady, is an elementary school teacher and is active in the ministries of the church as well.
Associate Pastor of Students, Worship and Discipleship
Garrison Jones
Garrison taught high school math and coached for 6 years before answering God’s call to full-time ministry in 2019. He served as Youth Pastor at First Christian Church, Canadian, TX from 2019-2023 and served as Executive Pastor at First Baptist Church, Seminole, Texas from 2023-2024 before answering God’s call to serve at Telephone Baptist Church as Associate Pastor of Youth, Worship, and Discipleship in July 2024.
Education:
Garrison attended Lubbock Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Secondary Education in 2013. He is also currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Family:
Garrison married his wife PJ in 2016. They have 2 daughters: Addie and Erin. PJ is an elementary school teacher and also helps with youth on Wednesday nights. Addie and Erin love to play outside and with their baby dolls.
Ministry Assistant
Ethelyn Eaves
Ethelyn is a TBC church member and joined the staff in August of 2014 as our Ministry Assistant. She is married to Brian, a deacon at TBC. They have two adult children and grandparents to Daniel, Ellie, Presleigh & Walker.
